In 1985, she founded the Living Hope International Ministry - New Beginnings Home. Prior to this time she ministered to women in the Orange County Jail and on the streets of Orlando, assisting women with food, clothing and presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She witnessed many women struggling to stay out of jail, trying to find employment and housing in order to keep their families together. Women that accepted Jesus and desired help would end up in jail again because there was no long-term support system. Mrs. Brown felt a great burden and calling to provide a residential program and follow-up for these women.

Living Hope - New Beginnings Home services includes: a second phase facility, The House of Esther. Community Outreach Services includes: Prison and Jail Ministry; an Incarcerated Education Life Skill Program in the Orange County Jail; Children of Incarcerated Mothers Program; The Good Samaritan Fund provides financial support to single mothers with children. Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Support Groups, an Administrative Office building are all a part of the services provided. [Click here to learn more.]
