In
1985, she founded the
Living Hope
International Ministry - New Beginnings Home.
Prior to this time she ministered to women in the
Orange County Jail and on the streets of Orlando,
assisting women with food, clothing and presenting
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She witnessed many women
struggling to stay out of jail, trying to find employment
and housing in order to keep their families together.
Women that accepted Jesus and desired help would end
up in jail again because there was no long-term support
system. Mrs. Brown felt a great burden and calling
to provide a residential program and follow-up for
these women.
